Requirements
- minimum of 3 Years’ experience in a Credit Control Function / Role
- preference for experience in multi-jurisdictional / ledger credit control management
- demonstrable work-based experience in using Financial Accounting Software
- experience working within a ‘Group’ Credit Control role
- completion of Professional / Recognized qualifications relevant to the role / Finance Function
- accounting: 1 year
- credit control: 1 year
Responsibility
- evaluating new credit requests including contacting trade references
- creating and setting up new customers on the ledgers
- reporting to the Financial Controllers on a weekly basis
- taking a proactive role in managing the debtor’s ledgers, ensuring debt is collected from customers within credit terms
- building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth running of accounts
