Responsibility
- assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs for children with autism
- provide support and assistance to students with their daily activities and tasks
- help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans
- monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the lead teacher and parents/guardians
- assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- support students during transitions between activities and locations within the school
Requirements
- experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special needs
- knowledge of toddler care and early childhood development principles
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students
- ability to follow instructions and implement strategies provided by the lead teacher
