Responsibility

  • pray with and for staff, volunteers, helpers and clients if requested, and regularly be on the Thought for the Day rota
  • management of volunteers, including support and annual reviews
  • ensure that Hope Centre schedules at Handforth, Wilmslow and Knutsford run to plan
  • plan and provide lunch at each Hope Centre with the help of volunteers
  • ensure that volunteers adhere to food hygiene standards at the Hope Centres and complete the required paperwork
  • ensure that staff and volunteers receive appropriate training
  • maintain attendance records at Hope Centres using a GDPR compliant database
  • ensure that staff, volunteers and helpers comply with Hope Central policies and procedures

Requirements

  • good organisational and managerial skills
  • compassionate and able to relate to people who live in poverty
  • IT literate including the ability to produce and maintain spreadsheets Good communication and people skills
  • attention to detail
