- managing small to medium design projects from inception through to completion
- ensuring project related documentation is compliant to Business Management systems, processes, and procedures
- mentoring junior Engineers and graduates
- liaising with Directors and clients on project issues
- leading in development of fee proposals for small to medium works
- managing projects to keep within timescale, budget constraints and to meet quality expectations
- preparing monthly reports and fee forecasts
Requirements
- experience of managing and leading inspection work
- experience administering construction projects
- managing larger design projects
- managing resources and budgets
- specific marine/coastal/maritime/diving experience
- specific experience in the energy, bridge and historic conservation sectors
- experience in people management processes such as performance management reviews, absence and capability concerns
- structural Engineering: 7 years
