Working hours

Responsibility

  • contribute to a team of interdisciplinary engineers
  • understand best practices and current state of the art in robotics hardware
  • design and implement cutting edge hardware solutions for marine robotics
  • design and implement embedded computer systems for real-time robotics software
  • deliver high quality, documented and well tested systems
  • participate in field trials for subsea robotics systems
  • understand customer requirements and how to achieve them

Requirements

  • relevant qualification in Electronic & Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • proficiency in designing, developing and deploying electronic and electrical systems
  • awareness of energy systems and power management
  • proficiency in computer networking and communication systems
  • experience with computer configuration and deployment
  • experience with system integration testing and in-field fault finding
  • experience with mobile or marine robotics a plus
  • experience with software engineering a plus
