Responsibility
- contribute to a team of interdisciplinary engineers
- understand best practices and current state of the art in robotics hardware
- design and implement cutting edge hardware solutions for marine robotics
- design and implement embedded computer systems for real-time robotics software
- deliver high quality, documented and well tested systems
- participate in field trials for subsea robotics systems
- understand customer requirements and how to achieve them
Requirements
- relevant qualification in Electronic & Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
- proficiency in designing, developing and deploying electronic and electrical systems
- awareness of energy systems and power management
- proficiency in computer networking and communication systems
- experience with computer configuration and deployment
- experience with system integration testing and in-field fault finding
- experience with mobile or marine robotics a plus
- experience with software engineering a plus
