Requirements
- 2D AutoCAD essential, some basic 3D would be an advantage
- proficiency in Office applications
- ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines
- autoCAD
- high level of care and attention to detail – self-motivated, proactive and dedicated
- good standard of technical awareness and any knowledge of construction would be advantageous
- able to work in a small team and be keen to learn
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibility
- produce detailed floor plans, elevations, furniture drawings and site plans to assist all areas of the business as required
- work closely with all other departments during every stage of the design and manufacture of standard homes and prototypes
- support the Design team where necessary to plan, monitor and implement new ideas to the product
- assist in offering advice and help to solve any technical issues arising in production
- familiarise yourself with the relevant Holiday Home regulations to develop an understanding of the product produced
- maintain AutoCAD blocks and the furniture library by producing detailed drawings of any new components and updating any existing items that may change in specification
- create accurate document indexes that log all the drawings required for the construction of each home. Maintain them accordingly with the addition of any new components and file revisions
- collate batch information packs for production by making sure all drawings required are accounted for, checked for accuracy, and packed for ease of use
