Responsibility
- keeping a record of and maintaining room inventory and arranging replacements for damaged/missing items
- liaising with Resident Support Workers to strive for Continuous Improvement in relation to maintenance
- receiving and administering job sheets from management
- updating a spreadsheet with completed jobs
- communicating effectively with staff regarding maintenance issues via email or google chat
- keeping a log of damage to property, as well as taking photographic evidence and updating the Resident Supervisors with this information
- weekly fire alarm checks across all sites as well as twice yearly practice evacuation drills
- moving furniture around or assisting residents with the moving of their personal items

Requirements
- working in a previous maintenance role
- knowledge of or experience in maintenance, DIY or repair work
- knowledge of tools and equipment
- working in buildings with vulnerable/displaced people
- keeping good administration records and using a computer
- working collaboratively and independently
- inputting data into maintenance spreadsheets and tracking issues across sites
- purchasing equipment on an ad hoc basis for specific tasks
