Requirements

  • proven bookkeeping experience
  • solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns
  • hands-on experience with spreadsheets and sage software
  • ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
  • high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • good concentration

Responsibility

  • prepare payment run - identify invoices due for payment, chase unauthorised invoices
  • performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners
  • assists accountants on tax return preparation
  • completion of bank reconciliations and timely and accurate reconciliation of the balance sheet
