Responsibility
- we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Miller to join our dynamic team
- interpret technical drawings and specifications to manufacture components to given spec
- perform tool changes, fixture adjustments, and machine offsets to ensure precise and efficient machining processes
- CAD/CAM experience is not essential but will be of strong benefit as there is potential progression into a programming role
- monitor machine operations and conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy and consistency of the produced components
- apprentice trained
- troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
- heidenhain programming, setting, and operating experience
Requirements
- proven experience as a CNC Miller, with a strong understanding of engineering and experience in milling
- individuals with a desire to progress their career into 5-axis machining will also be considered, as training will be provided
- proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and tool adjustments
- skilled in using precision measuring instruments to verify component accuracy
- good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
