Responsibility
- the Occupational Therapy Team is based at our main site in Mirfield, West Yorkshire as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team which includes Teachers, Physiotherapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Nurses, Enrichment & Social Care colleagues
- all our services are unique, being tailored to suit the needs of young people and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities and physical disabilities, and our teams work hard to ensure that the standards of care and support are consistent and of high quality
- the role may also include working within childrens residential services & school as required by the needs of the service
- this role is a temporary post to support the remainder of the Occupational Therapy team while a member of the team is on maternity leave
- this role will primarily focus on completion of Risk Assessments & supporting the team with implementing a digital care system across the trust
- you will be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- dependent on the needs of the service; this role may also include undertaking person-centred assessments for specialist equipment to support the independence and safety of children / young people / adults
- you will receive support from a team of experienced & well-established colleagues
