Responsibility
- establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards
- ensuring all staff kept to the highest standards of personal hygiene
- oversee all aspects of the quality assurance process, including raw materials, processing, packaging, and finished products
- develop and implement quality control guidelines, protocols, and specifications
- conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality control procedures
- monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary
- train and educate employees on quality control procedures and standards
- investigate and resolve customer complaints and non-conformances related to product quality
Requirements
- minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, ideally in the food processing industry
- strong knowledge of quality control protocols, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
- excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex quality issues
- proficient in using quality control tools and software for data analysis and reporting
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
