Responsibility
- carry out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating, including surface preparation, undercoating, glossing, emulsion, wallpapering, and wood staining/varnishing
- deliver a flawless finish on high-value properties, ensuring work is completed to an exceptional standard
- follow detailed specifications and work closely with project managers and designers to achieve desired results
- work efficiently in occupied or unoccupied spaces, maintaining a clean and tidy environment
- identify and rectify surface defects such as cracks, damp issues, or flaking paint before decorating
- adhere to health and safety procedures on-site at all times
- provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally in all interactions
Requirements
- minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in high-quality painting and decorating
- skilled in a range of finishes and techniques, with strong attention to detail
- experience with both interior and exterior decorating, including heritage or listed buildings preferred
- able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional results every time
- own tools and full PPE preferred
