Requirements

  • experience of working on a variety of pipework and structural steel work projects
  • proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Able to produce 3D layouts and models, including fabrication drawings, bill of materials
  • working knowledge of Advance Steel or other 3D software would be advantageous
  • be able to produce sheet metal developments and dxf files for laser cutting
  • has experience of working with laser scanned data, point clouds etc
  • experience of using Navisworks to manage, coordinate and create models
  • capable of understanding a structural design calculation and report
  • the ability to work collaboratively with clients, design engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders

Responsibility

  • actively participate in tender packages with input into design for both costs and quality optimisation
