Requirements
- minimum of 1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting
- proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, or other welding techniques
- experience with robotic welding systems
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- knowledge of CNC plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, or other metal fabrication techniques
- knowledge of various metals, alloys, and fabrication processes
- previous experience in a production or structural welding environment
- experience using hand tools, grinders, saws, and other fabrication equipment
Responsibility
- read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications
- set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques for the job
- perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and/or Flux-Cored Arc Welding
- weld, cut, shape, and join metal components using manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
- inspect welded joints and structures to ensure quality and conformance with specifications
- operate and maintain welding tools, machinery, and safety equipment
- work with various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- perform grinding, finishing, and fabrication work as needed
