Responsibility
- provide inspirational leadership and direction to administrative and support service staff
- lead on all Safeguarding matters including identifying, acting, and liaising with other agencies regarding safeguarding issues
- lead on safe recruitment of Support Workers and other staff
- review and create organisational policies and procedures ensuring that all HSL staff work within HSL policies and procedures
- prepare and assist with induction and orientation programmes for new members of staff
- lead and develop high-quality existing and new services that enable people to live the life they choose, which will include overseeing the allocation and delivery of accommodation and support services to individuals, taking the lead in local contract negotiations, and supporting the Director of HSL to source, develop and grow new provisions of accommodation
- manage and deliver supervision to Support Workers as required
- ensure quality services are delivered in a legal and contractually compliant manner and use management information to review standards and identify improvements
