Responsibility
- the process operators work closely with our team of day operators to ensure both the smooth running of the distillery production function but also that of the bio-plant and warehousing facilities
- manage day-to-day operations and production teams to achieve all required KPIs, performance metrics and cost objectives; ensuring team members are working efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring a safe and clean work environment
- this is not an exhaustive list of duties and maybe added to or deleted from as required to meet the changing needs of the business
- we are building a new distillery on the Island of Islay, named Portintruan, and recently acquired one of the most iconic distilleries in Speyside, Tomore Distillery, along with its mature inventory
- reporting to the Distillery Manager, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all the production processes from grain in, to casks out, ensuring that quality standards are met, safety regulations are adhered to, and costs are kept under control
- from inputting into our overarching policies and procedures in relation to Health & Safety, Quality, HMRC, Environment and Food & Feed Safety, through to evaluation and developing the site SOP’s and Risk Assessments, to ensure efficient, effective and safe production
