Responsibility
- perform professional dental cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- conduct oral hygiene assessments and provide patient education
- carry out restorative treatments such as fillings under a dentist’s prescription
- administer local anesthesia and fluoride treatments as needed
- take and interpret radiographs as required
- collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care
- maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- adhere to all infection control and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- qualified and registered Dental Therapist and Hygienist with [GDC/State Licensing Board]
- experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- passion for providing excellent patient care
- dental Hygienist: 1 year
