Responsibility
maintain good control over stock levels, including accurate ordering and stock clearance where necessary
take responsibility for the store in the absence of the manager, including being a key holder
your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Garden Centre Manager, helping to lead and manage a team of colleagues across the store and taking responsibility when the centre manager is absent
ensure all queries and complaints are handled with courtesy and are referred where appropriate to the Manager
assist with marketing and promotions
ensure customer service expectations are exceeded
ensure sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers and manage costs by way of theft prevention and waste control
manage cash transactions, cashing up and banking
Requirements
supervising experience: 2 years
retail management: 2 years
