Responsibility
- maintain good control over stock levels, including accurate ordering and stock clearance where necessary
- take responsibility for the store in the absence of the manager, including being a key holder
- your primary responsibility will be to provide support to the Garden Centre Manager, helping to lead and manage a team of colleagues across the store and taking responsibility when the centre manager is absent
- ensure all queries and complaints are handled with courtesy and are referred where appropriate to the Manager
- assist with marketing and promotions
- ensure customer service expectations are exceeded
- ensure sales opportunities are generated through interaction with customers and manage costs by way of theft prevention and waste control
- manage cash transactions, cashing up and banking
Requirements
- supervising experience: 2 years
- retail management: 2 years
