Responsibility
- create exceptional experiences for all guests in line with the Hickstead ethos
- support the sales and booking of events
- operational skills in delivering an event to a high standard
- coordinate the events booking/management system and records
- nurture and build relationships with new and existing guests
- develop an events strategy moving forward
- have a strong understanding of the sales budgets and targets
- ensure events are delivered to an exceptional standard, by ensuring detailed event schedules are prepared, and teams are briefed on guest needs
Requirements
- experience of successfully planning and delivering corporate/private events
- experience of bar management including stock taking and bar set-up
- excellent written communication skills for a variety of purposes, including proposals and function schedules
- excellent verbal communication skills to deliver persuasive and effective presentations/site visits, networking, negotiations, internal communications, and relationship management
