- assistance with property inspections, identification of issues, keeping up to date with council and legislative requirements and building regulations
- hibiscus Homes is a property maintenance company in need of a general maintenance operative who is friendly, self-motivated, organised and able to work in a team, and alone, under pressure
- A successful candidate needs to have a general understanding and experience in electrics, plumbing, carpentry, decoration and gardening as well as being able to undertake property inspections
- reporting unrepairable defects to management or seeking specialist repair if required
- working on call as and when required to support our care home outside of hours
- ensuring that all health and safety and compliance checks are carried to deadlines, and all policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times
Requirements
- good general health
- full driving license
- experience in a similar role including general property maintenance, carpentry, plumbing and electrics
- knowledge and awareness of current standards and regulations for each housing related discipline including plumbing, electrical and fire safety
- ability to use IT effectively to assess, report and advise on issues
- maintenance: 2 years
