Responsibility

work collaboratively with other schedulers to ensure the SLA’s and KPI’s are met
to build and maintain good working relationships with Branch Managers, Local and Regional Transport Managers as well as Partner Suppliers
to provide the Drivers with a dedicated point of contact for their issues, questions, and concerns
to fulfil all temporary driver bookings with your region within timescales that provides sufficient time to implement contingency plans, to achieve the highest possible level of fill-rate of temporary driver bookings received from the Client
to fulfil orders in resource priority order booking out drivers, ensuring the best commercial model is applied for the benefit of HGMS
act as the first point of escalation for any of issues received from HGMS drivers and Partner drivers
work in partnership with the Compliance Specialist to resolve any complaints within your region
to complete all compliance processes for any new drivers assigned e.g., check licences received, check all in-house systems, pass them to the Clients compliance for ATO etc to ensure all placements are compliant

HGMS is looking for a Scheduler to work within their busy transport team in Hedge End
you will need to have a good sense of humour with an excellent attitude to work
you need to be a team player and display excellent customer service and relationship building skills
with the willingness & confidence to get stuck in with energy and enthusiasm
we have onsite parking, a staff kitchen & rest area within the office
we are within walking distance to shops & supermarkets at Hedge End
we also are rather to a partial treat or two with some excellent chefs in the team
this is a fast paced, high-pressure environment that requires good attention to detail and good prioritisation skills with great rewards and within a wonderful team of people
