Responsibility
- provide front line aftersales and maintenance support to customers & suppliers providing prompt and professional solutions
- working alongside our maintenance bookings teams and overseeing authorisations
- ensuring cost effective mechanical repairs are completed to high quality standards and in line with manufacture warranty requirements
- monitor repair network effectiveness and charges; setting work direction to ensure best value
- keeping accurate maintenance repair records within fleet management system and control of vehicle event flags and reporting
- building strong relationships with primary vehicle maintenance suppliers, dealer groups and vehicle manufacturers
- challenge any delays and warranty rejection issues escalating to manufacturer as required
- flag & report any extended VOR, technical issues or parts delays – both in dealer & own workshop activity
Requirements
- fleet maintenance control experience and demonstrable knowledge of vehicle repair methods, repair times and parts cost
- up to date technical & vehicle compliance knowledge of vehicles, including LCVs
- commercial awareness and exceptional customer service with proven experience
- able to thrive in a fast paced environment & prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
- the ability to solve problems, use initiative and increase efficiencies
- be a team player and excellent communicator
- have good organisation & planning skills with meticulous attention to detail
- confident with IT systems & MS office
