Working hours
- part-time
Responsibility
- providing excellent customer service to all tenants and third parties including contractors, and other visitors
- liaising between the students and management team in response to reported maintenance and repairs
- conducting regular patrols of the building
- having due regard for student welfare needs and report to the Residential Manager where necessary
- dealing efficiently with pre-planned maintenance, day to day establishment requirements and problems that may arise
- to perform basic maintenance
- undertaking minor repairs to fixtures and fittings
- ensuring the residence is always clean and presentable
Requirements
- good interpersonal skills and be able to build a rapport with tenants
- experience working in a similar role
- good written and verbal communication
- experience is a similar environment of housekeeping or similar hospitality environment desirable
- flexible attitude being able to cover other shifts for holiday cover etc
- this role requires significant periods of lone working and as such, the will need to display a high degree of responsibility and professionalism in their work. The ability to use own initiative is essential
