Responsibility

  • henry Shaw is one of the U.K.’s leading wholesale distributors of fixings and fasteners to building, roofing, fencing and agricultural merchants
  • working hours are 6am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
  • daily deliveries to our customers using panel van up to 3.5t
  • working with agencies to cover holidays
  • recruiting and training new drivers as and when necessary
  • ensuring all vehicles are properly maintained and cleaned
  • we are currently looking for a Transport Team Leader to assist run the transport from our Birmingham depot. Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for the routing, transport and delivery of all goods in and out of the depot
  • vehicle routing for the next day’s deliveries
