- assigns tasks to employees and manages workload and employee performance against set KPIs
- manages and reports on site security, stock holding and loading discrepancies
- manages and reports on employee disciplinary issues and enforces company operational and Health and Safety policies, procedures and guidelines
- manages the ongoing training and development of shift employees ensuring the completion and updating of relevant employee training records
- based at: Coatbridge
- responsible to: Operations Manager
- to promote a fair working environment managing employee absence, disciplinary and grievance issues in a timely manner
- management and reporting of shift costs, planning of shift resources in line with financial targets ensuring achievement of budgetary targets
Requirements
- possesses strong people management, organizational skills and attention to detail
- self starter able to plan and organize own workload
- possesses well developed understanding of WMS and Pick and Pack technologies and continually updates own knowledge base and skills
- possesses excellent performance management and motivational skills
- demonstrates excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team and promotes a proactive and inclusive working environment
- possesses full understanding of Health and Safety legislation relating to warehouse operations
