Requirements
- strong knowledge and experience with event system scaffold is essential, preferably Layher
- knowledge in building temporary stages and structures and events
- A high level of communication both verbally and written
- ability to problem solve and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- meticulous attention to detail
- methodical and excellent organizational skills
- confident and approachable team manager and organisational skills
- hands-on approach, hardworking and a self-motivated attitude
Responsibility
- take an active role in the continued development of bespoke structural products
- ensure all on-site work is conducted in a safe manner and the companies H&S policies are adhered to
- working with CAD software, alongside the project managers to produce plans and drawings
- completing site surveys and other pre-liminary works at both quotation and project development stages
- working as on-site engineer for build-up & break-down of event production projects with a primary focus on temporary demountable structures and temporary electrical systems
- act as ‘Crew Chief’ to manage both full-time and freelance staff to ensure company and client requirements are met within time and budget constraints
- working alongside project management team to further develop knowledge and scope of the company’s temporary demountable structures offering, with specific focus on Layher scaffolding systems, Litedeck stages and seating tiers and Milos truss systems
