Responsibility
- receiving, storing and dispatching of goods safely and efficiently
- responsible for housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse
- collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices
- receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it according to policy
- ensuring replenishments are made in a timely manner to facilitate picking
- liaison with warehouse manager to ensure orders are dispatched in line with customer’s requirements
- responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse function
- delegating daily tasks to warehouse team ensuring the most cost-effective methods are used
