Responsibility
the delivery of good and safe care for our children
ensuring the effective up-keep and running of the home to maintain high standards for the children
ensuring staff are provided and undertake professional and personal development and training to meet the demands of the job
ensuring the development of up-to-date theory and practices and the implementation of these within the home
undertaking health & safety duties appropriate with the role and in line with the companies Health & Safety Policy
ensuring confidential information is handled and stored in line with company safeguarding, data protection and other relevant policies
working occasional shift patterns, including bank holidays, nights, evenings and/or weekends to support the effective management of the home. This would only be when absence or staff shortage cannot be covered
undertaking any other such duties, training and/or working hours that may reasonably be required in line with the responsibility of the job
Requirements
responsibility for ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to in accordance with Heartlands Group health and safety policies and procedures
responsibility for maintaining a record of all children in our care including their admittance and/or transition to another provision or service
to ensure that working practices of staff are in accordance with the
ensuring staffing is maintained at operational levels within the home. You will liaise with the Head of residential Services to arrange recruitment and assist in interviewing new staff
