- however, it is vital that the successful applicant is IT confident and has experience dealing with patients
- assisting with the typing of all correspondence relating to clinics and inter-departmental correspondence
- the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate good basic education
- liaising professionally with patient booking services
- co-operating in the introduction of new procedures, policies or technology, assisting managers in its implementation
- setting up and maintaining filing systems ensuring all documents are accurately and are appropriately archived in line with Information Governance
- the Patient Support Technician is a dual role which will be responsible for providing and managing day to day administrative work, including typing of Clinical correspondence, receptionist duties and management of appointment booking system
- taking responsibility for patient’s notes by implementing secretarial and administrative policies to track medical records and referral letters
