- provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a positive atmosphere
- assist in the administration of medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Requirements
- strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare or care assistant role
- empathy and compassion towards patients' needs and concerns
- NVQ3 Certificate is essential
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- moving and Handling practical experience
- basic knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures is advantageous but not essential
- excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team
