Responsibility

  • help improve IT support to our staff based on-site in challenging working environments
  • coordinate IT equipment procurement, deployment, operational management/support, and maintenance
  • seek opportunities for our staff to better help themselves with IT issues, with training, procedures, improved processes, and systems
  • monitor key network elements, server and cloud systems and clearly communicate issues and upcoming maintenance
  • undertake regular data housekeeping and data migration projects
  • administer users and teams in Microsoft 365, Deltek PIM, Sage and other key systems, and oversee proper and adequate software licensing
  • oversee the IT helpdesk and ensure it meets service level targets by improving procedures, supporting the helpdesk team, and providing adequate professional cover
  • support and maintain our SharePoint Intranet and team sites

Requirements

  • you must have worked in an IT helpdesk or similar technical support role for a minimum of 2 years
  • good knowledge of incident management, ticketing, triaging, OLA/SLAs, resolution & closure
  • you must be an excellent communicator and have a high level of competence using Microsoft Teams to support people working remotely
  • you must be able to give examples of creating/optimizing processes, procedures and delivering training to end users
