Responsibility
- preparing estimates and tenders including measurement take-offs and procurement of material costs
- undertake site visits on a weekly basis, to discuss and agree measurements with key operatives
- prepare and processing operative payments
- support the construction team in all construction matters including pre-construction planning/ programming
- monitoring progress against agreed construction programme
- liaise and assist with the Senior Quantity Surveyor on managing sub-contract packages both pre tender and post tender
Requirements
- ideally, minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in the construction industry. Would consider recently graduate surveyors
- degree qualified / other relative construction qualification
- strong negotiation skills
- computer literate
- time management skills
- highly motivated carrying out all tasks
- surveying: Recently Graduated or; 1 or 2 years experience
