Responsibility

  • the Deputy Manager will work within a team to maintain a resident’s dignity, independence and personal safety
  • hatfield Lodge Care Home is looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager and our team of Care staff to promote and deliver personalised care and engagement for our residents
  • carry out audits, Manage Medications, Administer medications, oversee and ensure best practise, person centred care is delivered by the Care team, allocate duties to the team and be responsible for running the shift, answering phone calls and reporting any issues to home manager
  • the ideal candidate will preferably hold a Level 3 qualification or above in Health and Social Care with proven experience within the Care Sector as a Deputy Manager, Team Leader or Senior Carer
  • duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to-All aspects of Medicines Management\* Audits \* Supervision and Appraisal \* Supporting and Guiding the Care team to deliver best practise person centred care \* Supporting residents with all aspects of personal care, nail care and hair care, whilst promoting and maintaining dignity and independence.\* To identify and meet the social, emotional and cultural needs of residents and participate in the organisation of person-centered engagement.\* Supporting residents to use the environment to its full potential, including the homes outdoor living space.\* To understand all Hatfield Lodge policies and procedures, including whistle blowing and confidentiality
