Responsibility
- assist in keeping the care environment clean, tidy and hazard free, e.g. cleaning of equipment and safe disposal of waste
- use equipment supplied, with care, in accordance with suppliers' instructions and training
- job Title: Night - Domestic
- expeditious cleaning of soiled carpets to minimise staining and damage to same, and to minimise spread of infection
- accountable to: Housekeeper\* all staff report through their supervisor to the Home Manager
- advise on cleaning materials and supplies required on a weekly basis, ensuring economic use of same
- ensure that the Company policy on infection control is adhered to at all times
- work as part of the domestic staff team, cleaning all areas of the Home, including public rooms and residents' rooms to a high standard, in accordance with published cleaning schedules
