- proven project management, strong interpersonal and communications skills are key in this role to enable a collaborative approach to continuous improvement
- the successful candidate will have mechanical, manufacturing, industrial Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience, have previous experience working with Lean Manufacturing
- due to the growth of the business a great opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, which is a key role in developing and delivering strategic initiatives as well as leading manufacturing engineering on a day-to-day basis
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is required for this role
- the role will have responsibility and lead manufacturing engineering across the business, reviewing, developing and implementing optimised processes, utilising sound engineering and science-based approaches, as well as lean manufacturing techniques
- you will work across and support all manufacturing functions, working closely with R&D to embed robust hand-over processes from new product development to industrialisation
- you will have an appetite for creating a positive change environment, using a combination of tools and techniques in order to achieve the high standards required
- if you can get the best out of others, lead, coach, motivate and inspire others to perform on a day-to-day basis, create objective based dialogue, not be phased by short term priority changes and thrive on Scenario Planning and Problem Solving as part of your day-to-day activities we would like to receive your application
