Responsibility

  • open to both qualified by experience or AAT qualified
  • the successful candidate would have their own regular clients to work on providing bookkeeping and payroll services
  • up to £28,000 a year pro rata – Permanent part-time up to 30 hours per week over 3, 4 or 5 days, prepared to be flexible for the right candidate
  • we are an Accountancy Practice based in Halls Green near Stevenage looking for an experienced bookkeeper /payroll assistant to join our friendly practice

Requirements

  • bookkeeping with knowledge of sage 50 or Iris Kashflow would be an advantage
  • bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns completion and submission under MTD
  • regular monthly and weekly payroll processing including pension uploads
  • answering phone, meet and greet clients
