Responsibility
- supervising and supporting the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- ensuring that all service areas are clean, organised, and well-maintained
- maintaining inventory levels for beverages, and supplies and placing orders as needed
- participating in stock takes
- monitoring and analysing financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability
- resolving customer complaints and ensuring that guest feedback is addressed promptly
- ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies
- supporting special events and promotions as needed
Requirements
- excellent communication and leadership skills
- strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A financial awareness and an ability to manage stock inventories
- strong organisational and time management skills
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service skills and a focus on guest satisfaction
- knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
- ideally 2+ years of experience in a management role in the hospitality industry
