- maintain a visible and authoritative presence to deter illegal or inappropriate activities on the premises
- conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to identify potential security risks or breaches
- monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and access control systems to detect and respond promptly to any security incidents
- enforce company policies and procedures to prevent unauthorised access or violations
- interact professionally and courteously with employees, visitors, and clients, providing assistance and guidance as needed
- respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or accidents, following established protocols
- write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate logs of all security-related activities
- as a Security Guard at HappyWish, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients' interests, preventing unauthorised access, and maintaining a safe and secure environment
Requirements
- security
- SIA Licence and First Aid
- driving license is preferred but not necessary
- proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position is preferred but not necessary
- valid security guard license/certification issued by the appropriate governing authority
- ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
- knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures
