Responsibility

  • as well as working on site playing with and supervising the dogs in our care
  • supervising dogs at the centre, playing with, and caring for our dogs
  • cleaning the dogs and preparing them to return to their owners
  • meeting and greeting new customers

  • if you're a Dog Lover and looking for a part time role and enjoy the outdoors then, Happy Tails Doggy Day-care are seeking an Dog Day Care Assistant & Relief Driver to join our expanding team

  • the main role is on site supervising dogs, but it will also involve from time to time collecting dogs using our vans from owner’s homes and transporting them to site, covering other drivers holidays

Requirements

  • ideally have experience in dog day-care / kennelling / dog training or have a qualification in Animal Management
  • live within travelling distance to the Sevenoaks area with knowledge of local roads
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent understanding of dog / animal welfare and health safety laws
  • show a proven history, through references, of your reliability, trustworthiness, and good organisation skills
  • you will be CRB / Disclosure checked. Multiple References are required
  • you must have a full clean MANUAL driving license and have a minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • manual driving: 3 years
