Responsibility
participating in the development of strategic business plans to meet group business objectives
preparing the monthly financial accounts pack including control of month end group finance team routine
support the financial management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director
management of the monthly balance sheet reconciliations routine and production of monthly balance sheet review document including key highlights for discussion
managing the small finance team on day to day basis to ensure workload allocated and completed as required
accounting for and reporting on balance sheet
leading the monthly reporting process, ensuring that information provided is accurate and delivered within agreed timescales
preparation of annual statutory accounts under IFRS
Requirements
I am currently working in partnership with a local hospitality business that owns 6 successful venues located across the North East
possess relevant qualifications, coupled with recognised industry accreditation ACCA/ CIMA /ACA
exceptional attention to detail, organisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
motor trade experience would be an advantage, but not essential
experience of managing a finance team across multiple locations
effective communication & people skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels within the group
