Responsibility
- working hours Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm throughout the year
- we are seeking to appoint a Heating Engineer/Plumber to work across the schools' sites. You will be required to carry out maintenance and improvement works and undertake fault-finding analysis on a planned and reactive basis
- to carry out installation and maintenance work to heating, plumbing, drainage and sanitation installations of all types in domestic and commercial buildings and be fully conversant with all aspects of the heating systems that operate throughout Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools
- to undertake fault-finding, problem-solving, diagnosis and repair of performance concerns as may affect the operation and proper performance of the plumbing, drainage and heating systems that operate throughout Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools
- to carry out periodic inspection and testing of gas and oil-fired installations and appliances to include completion of relevant test and maintenance certification in accordance with the relevant industry regulations
- 15. To carry out, any other reasonable duties required by the Bursar or Estates Manager or within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role
- any other reasonable tasks required by the Bursar or Estates Manager
- to liaise with other staff and external contractors in a positive and co-operative manner and as necessary to ensure the timely and proper completion of works to support reasonable operational expectations
