Responsibility
- conduct general nursing duties including wound care, vaccinations, health screenings, and health assessments
- assist in chronic disease management and support patients with long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, hypertension, and others
- administer vaccinations and immunizations following established protocols and guidelines
- perform cervical cytology and other relevant diagnostic procedures
- support with minor surgery, including assistance during procedures and post-operative care
- maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards
- collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care and support
Requirements
- registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
- proven experience as a Practice Nurse in a primary care setting
- competence in performing general nursing procedures and treatments
- strong understanding of chronic disease management and relevant protocols
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues
- ability to work autonomously and within a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- proficiency in using clinical computer systems for patient record keeping
