Responsibility

  • the key responsibilities will be to prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • the role will also involve assisting the Insolvency Department with accountancy aspects of corporate insolvencies
  • no prior experience in this field is required as full training and support will be provided
  • we are looking for an office based Accountant at our Swansea office with at least a few years UK based practice experience to join us
  • A successful candidate will also be required to assist with the provision of additional ad hoc services as and when required by clients
  • this will include tasks such as the preparation of statements of affairs and reviews and investigations into company accounts, books and records

Requirements

  • the practice uses the Iris software package for Accounts preparation and tax
  • A successful candidate will need to be proficient in using and assisting others on the major desktop and cloud-based accountancy packages
  • we aim to provide a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly approach to our clients. A successful candidate will need to possess the personal skills to deliver this approach
