Responsibility
- co-pilot and finance business partner for Plant Director, UK Finance Director and Factory Management Team
- co-ordinate quarterly forecasting and annual budget process in conjunction with factory management and production planning
- business partnering, development and financial evaluation for new investments projects in the plant
- proactive pursuit, development and execution of key initiatives and Cost Improvement programs
- build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel
- ensure accurate and timely production of monthly reporting pack including review with Factory Management. Challenge and investigate material and spend variances with factory management / supply chain teams
- provide oversight and guidance on the development of new products, portfolio changes, repatriation programs in conjunction with NPD, planning and operations and provide insights to commercial teams in order to improve profitability
- as finance business partner take ownership of accounting issues relating to the site. Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and that the site is SOX compliant
