Requirements
extensive experience in Business Development and Sales /Account Management is essential
be able to demonstrate proven and effective lone/team working experience
knowledge and understanding of Animal Feeds is advantageous
knowledge and understanding of animal feeds/products or pets, equine or camelid is advantageous
experience implementing or using CRM systems
must have a proven track record of maximising revenue streams
A Full UK/EU Driving license is required
superb organisation skills to ensure the variation of juggling clients/business demands, off- site meetings are expedited
Responsibility
pursuing leads and moving them through the sale cycle to on-boarding
achieve both personal and business KPI’s/Sales Targets as set by Company Accountant
work with the Marketing Manager to prepare sales presentation and literature to support products, training and distribution
actively seek out new opportunities in the market through lead generation, appointments, shows, consumer events and follow up potential new enquiry leads from Sales Account Handler
deliver training in-house and to distributors as requested from the company FOE/multi store business development plan
target sales variances and understand shortfalls on specific customer accounts as set out in monthly KPI’s and report back to Company Accountant
work closely with Marketing team to identify potential business opportunities though social media channels
manage and maintain internal CRM system ensuring sales prospects/pipeline is up to date with current activity and communications
