Requirements
- to address the needs of the young people according to their individual care plans
- maintain knowledge of and apply the relevant legislative, regulative standards against inspection framework requirements
- residential care: 1 year
- manage the residential home on a day-to-day basis ensuring it is compliant in meeting all relevant legislative and contractual requirements, including the health and educational needs of young people
- to be able to give children and young people a voice in decisions about the care that impact their lives
- create and produce activities to occupy and develop young people in order that they gain life skills and education on an informed basis
- to exercise a variety of skills to encourage young people in their education attainment
- liaise with other departments and external agencies to ensure that the young people receive appropriate plans, programmes, and support in the home to aid their rehabilitation into the community and to meet contractual requirements
