- conduct market research & find new prospective customers, approaching these contacts to win new business for the company
- assist in the closing of orders in a profitable manner, with acceptable conditions of contract
- keep enquiry & order logs up to date
- assist on projects where necessary
Requirements
- A level of engineering knowledge & applications within the Oil and Gas Industry
- experience in a sales role, handling customer requirements & preparing quotations
- experience in business development is desirable
- A track record of winning sales would be desirable
- high level of personal credibility; confident in personal expertise & company products
- ability to communicate well in a business manner
- project management experience would be desirable but not necessary
