Responsibility
- perform welding and fabrication tasks according to blueprints and specifications
- assemble and weld metal components using various welding techniques
- use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
- read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
- ensure the quality and accuracy of welded components through visual inspections
- collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and meet production goals
- maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements
- proficient in welding techniques such as stick welding, MIG welding, and TIG welding
- strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- experience working with sheet metal and other metal materials
- familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
- basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and calculating dimensions
- attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication process
