fabricator welder

Working hours

Responsibility

  • we are looking for a motivated individual to join our experienced team as a fabricator-welder
  • we offer a competitive salary plus the availability of overtime as well as training and the opportunity to grow professionally
  • the successful candidate will earn between £15.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills
  • using a variety of tools such as; Press breaks, Nibbler, Benders, Guillotines etc
  • liaising with the works manager to ensure that work carried out is accurate, resolving issues as they arise
  • grove Engineering Services Limited is a long established company based in Corby, providing engineering assistance to the food, print and waste industries, in and around the local area
  • supporting other Employees as required
  • maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and reporting any faults/hazards, in accordance with Company Health and Safety requirements

Requirements

  • an ability to work independently under your own initiative, planning work and allocating time accordingly to reach deadlines
  • be able to communicate effectively with co-workers
  • have an ability to work independently, under your own initiative, plan work and allocate time accordingly to achieve deadlines
  • previous experience of TIG Welding in Stainless Steel / Mild steel and Fabricating is essential
  • you will be responsible for the entire fabrication process from the initial drawing to final assembly
  • ability to read and work from engineering drawings
  • have previous experience of TIG/MIG fabricating and welding, in both Stainless Steel and Mild steel
  • experience of welding thin gauge materials and an ability to measure and cut materials accurately
