Responsibility

  • previous supervisory/managerial experience is desirable as is a positive attitude and a drive to succeed
  • you must be confident, friendly, honest and have a good basic standard of numeracy and literacy
  • previous key-holder experience is also desirable
  • we are currently hiring for a supervisor role for our busy Indian Grocery Store in Reading. The candidate must have a good knowledge of Indian/Asia products to assist local customers
  • you must be comfortable working alone and as part of a team
  • we are an independent store which focuses on providing local customers with all their daily needs. Although relatively small in size, our store is extremely busy on a daily basis and we’re looking for a supervisor who can keep up with the pace
  • we are recruiting a supervisor who will need to support the manager with the day to day running of the store so you must be able to follow instructions as well as be good at using your own common sense to make decisions
  • you will also need to be available to cover sickness/holidays
